Gerstner's reputation has been built on their machinist chests. You would have a hard time finding a machine shop where at least the top machinist does not have a Gerstner chest on his work bench. In fact, I would be afraid to hire work done in a shop that did not have at least one Gerstner chest in evidence.

While these chests are built to hold the delicate measuring instruments of the tool-makers trade, they have always been used to hold tools for wood carvers, wood burners, leather carvers, model makers, draftsmen, fly tiers or the home tinker. They are not intended for the heavy weight of an auto mechanic's wrench sets. Drawers are lined with brown felt to protect delicate items. These chests are also extremely well suited for collections of pocket and hunting knives, pens, or watches, as well as many other items men collect.

We have been offering our customers the fine Gerstner's Golden Oak Machinist Tool Chests for several years and for somewhat fewer years the neat little Collectors Chest that I designed. Now we can offer you another, larger chest for collecting. The Treasure chest, with solid brass fittings, including handles at each end and eleven drawers that can be used for knives, pens, jewelry, recipes, etc.

Overall measurements are 18" W x 9-3/4" D x 13-1/4" H. All drawers measure 7-3/4" front to back. The upper four drawers measure 7-3/8" wide and 1-3/8" deep. The outside middle four drawers measure 4-1/4" wide and 1-3/8" deep. The middle drawer is 5-1/8" wide, and 3 -1/8" deep. The bottom two drawers measure 16-1/8" wide and 1-5/8" deep. Does not lock. Weighs approximately 30 lbs.
