Wrangler® Small 1830s Bowie Knife

With hand beaded sheath.

This small 1830s to 1840s style Bowie Knife from Wrangler® has handle scales of Curly Maple and a drop point blade with file worked back and Spanish notch. Like knives made during those years in this country, the blade is thin (about 1/16"), making the knife both lightweight and a good choice for slicing. The handmade beaded leather sheath has a belt loop that will accommodate up to a 4" belt or sash. Each sheath has a unique pattern and bead colors.

The drop point blade is 1095 at 57-59 Rc. with an antique finish and varies in length from 4-1/2" to 4-3/4". Measures from 8-3/4" to 9-1/4" tip to butt and weighs about 3.5 oz. Made in the U.S.A.
