1971 Mach I Boss 351 Mustang - (SUS-3624)

$24.95

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In 1969, the Mach I was one of three new Mustang models that made it into production. By 1971, both the Boss 302 and 429 disappeared, but the introduction of the Boss 351 gave customers hope that high performance was not dead at Ford. The Boss 351 was the car that most appealed to street performance buffs. After building the biggest Mustang ever to hold its largest engines, Ford offered only one big-block in 1971 - that for only half of the year. By the time the 1971 models hit the showrooms, high insurance premiums and increasing government safety and emissions regulations put a damper on the enthusiasm for high performance cars.
This highly detailed and carefully crafted diecast model is created with meticulous precision. Features fully functional doors, hood, trunk and wheels with special attention given to sections such as a fully painted engine compartment and detailed interior.
