The Boker® boot knife is now available with a blade made of 300+ layer Leo Damascus® steel. Steel from the gun barrel of the famous German battle tank Leopard is hand forged into a blade material with Boker's popular "Small Pyramids" pattern with a Rockwell hardness of about 63 Rc. The 3-1/4" spearpoint blade is swedged on the top side and sharp only on the bottom edge. The entire blade and full tang are made from the Leo Damascus material. Carefully selected Ambonia Burl is beautifully complemented by the satin finished nickel silver guard, pommel and pins. Measures 7-5/8" tip to butt and weighs 4.9 oz. Each knife is individually serial numbered on the reverse side bolster and includes a certificate of authenticity. Includes a leather sheath with a metal boot clip and a snapped leather strap to keep the knife in the sheath. Ships in a special black wooden collector's box specially fitted to hold both the knife and the sheath. Made in Germany. Suggested retail is $995.00.
