24" Tiffany Style Stained Glass Lamp

This Mission style table lamp is handmade by artisans using the copper foil technique, a method made popular by L. C. Tiffany in the late 1800s. This technique involves wrapping the pieces of glass with copper foil and soldering them together along the seams. Stained glass created in this way is much stronger than that created with lead came. It needs no putty, is airtight, waterproof and allows intricately detailed work for items such as lampshades.
