Insulated Carafe
Goldie bought one for me during a period when I was spending a lot of
"after hours" time at the office. In the winter, I really like a
cup of good hot tea. Most of the vacuum bottles which we owned just
wouldn't keep the tea hot for any length of time. The large stainless ones
were inconvenient enough that I just didn't bother to carry one. This
carafe was ideal. It is easy to carry (the pouring handle helps a bunch),
easy to pour from (no need to remove the top, just loosen it), and easy to
clean. Best of all, for several hours the contents will stay as hot as
when you poured them. I have left tea in mine overnight and found it hot
the next morning.
