I think the proper term for this bag is a messenger bag, but I prefer to call it a traveler. The quality is stupendous. Soft, cashmere leather with front flap construction which opens to a main compartment with a 7" back wall zipper and two open pockets for keys or cell phone. Also under the flap is a zippered organizer section with 9 card slots, 2 pen holders, an ID window and a 6" open slip pocket. There is a 7" zippered pocket on the outside of the flap, a side cell phone pocket and another 7" zippered pocket on the back. The shoulder strap is fully adjustable to about 56". Measures 8"x 10"x 3-1/2". Will hold a Netbook®, an Ipad™ or a plain old-fashioned paperback. For ease of getting through airport security, I transfer all of my pocket items to the traveler and it makes getting through checkpoints a little less painful. Great gift item.
