It occurred to me that many of you would also be interested in what the Airgun Letter called "The world's most accurate BB gun." This is indeed a very, VERY accurate BB gun. It helps of course that it is furnished with really great sights; a globe front sight, and a fine target peep sight at the rear. This is a single shot lever cocking gun that loads from the muzzle. The accuracy is enhanced by the use of specially ground shot. This shot is finished to 0.0002 inch, that is about 1/10 of the slack in the normal steel shot available for regular BB guns.

The Airgun Letter says that the precision shot does not work any better in standard BB guns than the cheaper shot. It only performs so well in this little target rifle that is built to use it. This gun is intended for teaching youngsters seven to fourteen, how to use a target rifle. The velocity is 240 feet per second, one of the reasons for such impressive accuracy. Like any BB gun you put into the hands of your children or grandchildren you should see that they have eye protection whenever shooting and are correctly trained in its use.
