We have re-designed the Hunter Scalpel making it a miniature of the full sized Deer Hunter, which has a 4" blade. The same Thumbolt® sheath design patented by Blackie Collins and assigned to A. G. Russell™ Knives is used by both these knives as well as the A. G. Russell™ Bird & Trout.

DMT's uniquely designed diamond sharpening stones are the finest diamond sharpeners I have ever used. They will hone the hardest material in less time and with less effort than conventional sharpening stones of Novaculite or ceramic.

This outstanding product is the best we have ever seen for preventing rust or staining on high carbon tool steel, or any non-stainless steel. For best results clean the metal with WD-40 or very hot water.

About 15 years ago, I bought a large quantity of knives from a distributor in Australia. Part of that stock was from a Japanese maker who had made really good knives but the leather pouches he furnished were even better than the knives.

Forty years ago, I discovered the loss of my Arkansas stone and searched out a maker in Hot Springs. That loss prompted me to offer those stones in space ads in national magazines like the American Rifleman.

This is a sharpening idea that I have encouraged someone to produce for over a decade. What a simple and handy little sharpener.

The original knife collectors polish; for polishing chrome, silver, brass, nickel silver, blade steels, etc. I have used it for over 30 years and while I have tried every new polish I run into, I have never found one to replace it.
