Randall Reading, well known for his wildlife carvings, has produced a fitting representation of an old bull elephant. I can imagine this massive old male, forced out of the heard and guarded by a pair of askari (younger bulls). The magnificent old bull trumpets a challenge with his ears fanned to tell the world he is serious.

New in 2008, this piece was designed to be mounted on a wall. Handcast in a blend of alabaster powder and clear resin, hand painted and individually numbered. Limited to 2,500 pieces. Includes a numbered Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist. Measures about 17" from the wall to the end of his trunk, just under 18" from ear to ear and 16" from the tip of tusk to the back of head. The size and realism make this an impressive piece. Weighs just over 14 lbs. Ships with mounting hardware.
