Our Canadian friend is an extremely talented knifemaker and one of the most celebrated scrimshanders in the world. He is not only a highly technically skilled artist, but an extremely creative one as well. In 2006, we offered one of his hunters with a tiger head scrimed in beautiful full color on Water Buffalo Horn. In January this year, we arranged for him to complete a maximum of 100 hunters with a creative variation of the same theme. He has created images on both the obverse and reverse sides of the handle scales, not just a repeat as you might expect, but the obverse side has an image of the tiger walking toward you and the reverse side, an image of the tiger walking away from you. Very nice!

Gaétan Beauchamp - Come and Go Tiger ATS-34

The hand rubbed 4-1/2" saber ground drop point blade is ATS-34 hardened to 59-61 Rc. The bolsters are mirror polished engravable 416 stainless steel and the handle scales are jet black highly polished Water Buffalo Horn beautifully scrimshawed in extraordinary color. Measures 9-1/4" from tip to butt and weighs approximately 10 oz. Includes a leather pouch style sheath. Knife and sheath handmade in Quebec. If out of stock, delivery can take 1 to 2 months.
