Gerstner has created two bases for the Collector's Chest that can be added one at a time to the chest you already own, or you can buy the entire set of three pieces including the original Collector's Chest as it was designed by A. G. Russell. These bases are designed to sit under the Collector's Chest and give you more space for your knives, pens, medals or whatever it is you collect. The top of each base and the inside of each drawer is lined with felt to protect your fine collectibles.
The SuperBase, designed to go under the 3 Drawer Base, is just the right size. Measures 23-1/2" x 10" x 11-1/2" tall. There are 11 drawers, all of which measure 8-1/4" front to back. 4 drawers measures 10" wide x 1-1/4" deep, 4 measure 6-3/8" wide x 1-1/4" deep, 1 measures 6-3/8" wide x 2-5/8" deep, 1 measures 21-5/8" wide x 1-1/4" deep and 1 drawer measures 21- 5/8" wide x 1-1/2" deep. Weighs 24.88 lbs.
