The first jacket of this design appeared early in the 20th Century but I don't think the Military adopted it until sometime between the two World Wars. I do know that it was widely used in WWII. This modern version is constructed from the finest, toughest supple full-grain aniline goatskin. Satin sleeve lining makes the jacket easy to get in and out of and two slash front handwarmer pockets are suede-lined for comfort and durability . The soft cotton-lined interior has three leather-trimmed document pockets and a pen sleeve. Made with dual (left & right handed) cordura-nylon lined holster pockets. Includes an adjustable/removable nylon holster for discreet and safe concealed carry. A reinforced leather locker-loop insures that convenient hanging does not damage the jacket and the heavy-duty YKK USA zipper will last a lifetime. Handsome deep chocolate color.
