These cuff links are handcrafted of genuine coins made in various U.S Mints. Minted from 1913 – 1938, the Indian Head Nickel was designed by sculptor James Earle Fraser. It includes a profile of a Native American on the obverse side of the coin, which is believed to be a composite portrait of three Native Americans (Iron Tail, an Oglala Sioux Chief; Two Moons, a Cheyenne Chief; and Big Tree, a Kiowa Chief), and an American Bison on the reverse. Only 1 in 25,000 nickels in circulation today is an Indian Head Nickel. Because of this, the number of these cuff links created will be very limited.
