The Dolphin is designed by Italian knife designed Claudio Volapto. With being just 4-5/8" overall, this knife maybe small but it makes up for it in strength and a sharp blade.

The Starlight folder was designed by Italian knifemaker Salvatore Puddu. Maserin's introduction of this knife was an upscale version with stainless Damascas blade, Mokume bolsters and rare wood handle scales. They now offer the same model with no frills textured G-10 handle scales, meant to perform tough and dirty work.

Maserin's Birdland line of folders is the result of a collaboration between Italian knifemaker Salvatore Puddu and Maserin Knives. These knives are meant to be carried and used; the walk and talk are just what you would expect from a Maserin knife, positive and strong.

The owners of Maserin, members of the family who founded it, have built this company on the tradition of the artisan blacksmiths who were the reason Maniago became known as the "city of the knives".

Maserin Cutlery, one of the top Italian knife manufacturers, relies on handmade knifemakers for many of their new knife designs. Claudio Riboni, who produced his first knife in 1994, is one of those knifemakers. While he has been making knives for less than twenty years, his designs reflect a very classic style with a modern flair.

The Maserin® Trigger was designed by Claudio Riboni with a very interesting locking and lock release system based on a centuries old Sicilian knife. The name comes from the lock release mechanism. To release the lock, simply press down on the lever on the obverse side of the handle, and the blade is released.

Italian knifemaker Attilio Morotti has only been making handmade knives since 2002, but his desire to make the best and the advice of several of the top knifemakers in Italy has propelled his knives to the top. In 2007, his work was recognized with the "Master of the Guild of Italian Knife" designation. In 2008, he began a collaboration with Coltellerie Maserin, one of the ten or so top knife manufacturers in Italy. Located in Maniago, the "city of knives", Maserin has been producing some of the best quality knives on the market for over fifty years.

Maserin® was established in 1960. Since that time, the owners, members of the family who founded it, have relied on the tradition of artisan blacksmiths, which made Maniago the "City of Knives."

Originally established in 1960, Coltellerie Maserin is one of the ten or so top knife manufacturers in Maniago, the heart of knife manufacturing in Italy. Maserin, like the other top Maniago knife manufacturers, is uniquely positioned to produce some of the best-designed and best quality knives being made today.

Sergio Consoli is an Italian knifemaker who specializes in beautifully built, and usually highly embellished, lockback folders. The combination of the Consoli design and Maserin's attention to execution has resulted in this beautiful folder.

Maserin® first introduced the Starlight in an upscale version with a stainless Damascus blade, Mokume' bolsters and rare exotic wood scales. The design came from Italian knifemaker Salvatore Puddu who exhibited at his first C.I.C. Knife Show in Milan in 2000, and promptly won Best-of-the-Show the following year for his Three Blade Lockback. It's really no surprise that these two well-known names in the Italian knife trade have teamed up.
