Masters of the High Plains

The struggle for the west continues...

The men (and women) of the American West faced perils that present day residents of Kansas and Nebraska could scarecly imagine. Winters were harsh and hungry. Cities and towns were violent and disease ridden. Bands of Kiowa, Comanche and Sioux roamed the High Plains, trying to defend their ancestral lands from encroaching white settlers. The one line of defense that western settlers had was the United States Cavalry, who were often not much better off than the settlers they were tasked to protect. These fine items let you experience all of the romance and adventure of the western prairie without the mortal peril.
