This floor lamp has been made at our request to complement the table lamp and accent lamp we also offer. Each lamp is handmade using the copper foil technique, a method made popular by L. C. Tiffany at the turn of the century. The copper foil technique involves wrapping the pieces of glass with copper foil and soldering them together along the length of the seams. Stained glass created in this way is much stronger than that created with lead. It needs no putty, is airtight, waterproof and allows intricately detailed work for items such as lamp shades.

These lamps are made by skilled artisans using the finest stained glass, specially processed to produce the purest, most vibrant color. The colors are shades of honey, white, tan rootbeer and green. Since the lamps are handmade, they will differ slightly in appearance. No two pieces of glass are the same. Texture, color, shape and clarity may differ resulting in lamps with individual character and beauty. 16" square shade on a metal base. Measures 5' 2-3/8" tall.
