The metal deposits on your ceramic sharpening rods must be removed periodically for best sharpening performance. While kitchen scouring powder will remove most of the build up, this eraser does a better job. It also works beautifully at removing rust and corrosion from tools and outdoor equipment; for polishing edges of snow skis and for cleaning tires and rubber products. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND IT FOR REMOVING RUST FROM KNIVES. May cause dullness or scratch highly polished surfaces. Can be used wet or dry. Single 31/2" x 1" x 9/16" eraser.

The original knife collectors polish; for polishing chrome, silver, brass, nickel silver, blade steels, etc. I have used it for over 30 years and while I have tried every new polish I run into, I have never found one to replace it.
This outstanding product is the best we have ever seen for preventing rust or staining on high carbon tool steel, or any non-stainless steel. For best results clean the metal with WD-40 or very hot water.
This oil has been specially formulated for use as a honing oil. It is neither too thick nor too thin, either of which would lead to glazing on your stone.
The ceramic sharpener was invented by Louis Graves. We have always disagreed with Louis about the proper angle for the rods, but in every other way, he really knew what he was doing.
Based on the work of inventor Louis Graves, here is a compact sharpener that will do it all. Two diamond rods for establishing a new bevel and/or thinning a dull blade. Two ceramic rods of very high alumina content to put that razor sharp finished edge on the blade.
Recently, Spyderco introduced a new line of folders they call SLIPITS. These are non-locking slip-joint knives from a company that has built a reputation on lockbacks, but also, more importantly, on quality. The Bug, not much larger than a bumble bee, is the first Spyderco® Slipit.
We have searched for years for a source of Chamois for our own use, in our store and at knife shows, and for our many customers who have asked where they could get it.
