The Contractor 2x4 is a working theme knife from SOG®. Whether you are a contractor, or a do-it-yourselfer, you will get a chuckle out of the 2x4. Opening or closing the blade rotates the circular saw blade. A hammer head acts as the lock release and the handle houses a pencil sharpener in the butt, a single bubble level, and holes for wire stripping using the edge of the blade. SOG has thought of everything, they have even included a lucky nail stored in the reverse side handle scale. The 3-1/8" bead blasted modified sheepsfoot blade is made from 8Cr13MoV stainless steel at 52-54 Rc. Black Zytel® handle scales on beadblasted stainless liners support a tip-down carry pocket clip shaped like a putty knife. Measures 4-3/8" closed and weighs 4.0 oz. Made in China. Suggested retail $40.00.

When you first look at the Get-A-Way Driver you may ask "Why?" Once you have carried it for a few days, you will wonder how in the world you ever got along without it. This is a compact screwdriver that functions vertically or you can change the position of the bit to create an angle driver.
For years, I have wanted to offer A. G. Russell™ customers an outstanding hawkbill knife. With the help of our new engineering department, we have gone far beyond the hawkbill as produced by knife manufacturers in the past.
We have re-designed the Hunter Scalpel making it a miniature of the full sized Deer Hunter, which has a 4" blade. The same Thumbolt® sheath design patented by Blackie Collins and assigned to A. G. Russell™ Knives is used by both these knives as well as the A. G. Russell™ Bird & Trout.
The Salute is the first Fusion tactical folder from SOG®. From the Bowie style blade to the scalloped full-length steel liners, the Salute is proof that value can still be good looking AND hard working. Features a new SOG innovation, a movable thumb stud so you can tailor the position to your own hands.
About 15 years ago, I bought a large quantity of knives from a distributor in Australia. Part of that stock was from a Japanese maker who had made really good knives but the leather pouches he furnished were even better than the knives.
When you think you have seen every way possible to open a folding knife, Columbia River seems to find a new one. The Kommer Fulcrum™ is such a folder. To open, press the front side of the handle frame toward the blade as it nests in the handle.
The SOG Fusion Muscle Car is designed with an obvious theme in mind, high performance. The wheel that turns with the knife, a fan belt and pulley array, exhaust pipe, racing stripes, hood latch thumbstud, spoilers, competition numbers gear shifter clip, headlights and license plate engraving are all fun reminders of the muscle car era.
At the 2007 Blade Show, Kershaw introduced an innovative twist on knife blade construction. They have developed a process where they fit two different steels together to create a blade. The primary purpose for creating a blade in this manner is to allow the manufacturer to use a lesser quality steel for the spine and one of the new expensive high performance steels for the cutting edge.
While the CRKT® L'il Guppie™ is much smaller than the full-size Guppie, it is a surprisingly useful tool.
