This rugged briefcase of heavy cotton canvas and vegetable tanned cognac colored leather is built for heavy use. Almost a briefcase within a briefcase. The handle is not attached to the flap the way it is on most briefcases; instead, it is attached to a metal frame at the top of the case and protrudes through a porthole in the flap. The flap is an extension of the back of the bag, extends over the top and is held closed with dual magnetic snaps. The result - it does not "slump" under the weight of a laptop and the other things you carry. Under the flap is a zippered main center compartment with a tab closed, foam padded sleeve that will hold up to a 14" screen laptop, and extra storage space for laptop accessories; a front compartment with leather organizer that holds four pens, your cell phone or iPhone® and business cards; and an open top back compartment. A zippered pocket on the outside of the back allows easy access to magazines, files or documents which need to be within easy reach. Comfortable leather handle and adjustable leather shoulder strap.
