The tsuba is usually a round, oval or squarish guard between the handle and blade of a Japanese weapon like the tanto or katana. It helps in the control of the weapon by providing a protrusion the index finger can grasp. In its simplest form, a tsuba can be a plain, undecorated plate. It is that simplest form that inspired this money clip knife. The tsuba shape has been modified to create a frame lock. A blade and a clip, to hold your bills or to clip the knife to your pocket, have been added to create this unusual piece. The 1-1/2" modified tanto style blade is VG-10 at 59-60 Rc. The handle and guard are stainless. Measures 2" closed and weighs 0.6 oz.
