Only the best carefully selected American grown oak is used in barrels to impart special flavors to the wine. When a barrel is scrapped after a few years of use the wood is naturally seasoned and stained to a mellow hue that is perfect for household furniture and accessories. It is up to the craftsman to create a design that works with the shape of the staves and barrel ends.

Using the natural simple beauty of the oak barrel, this set of tasting table and two stools has been built to take advantage of the rich variations of texture, color and grain in the material.
